Music is the window to the soul

I just read in Iggy's post about songs being like emotional bookmarks to our past. So true.. I think much of my life is anchored by songs, and I've always liked music that bring back memories, so here are some special ones..

This song brings back memories of my primary school friends, closest of which is Guanyu. We used to sing to woo the girls in our class haha (no la just jk heh), but we seem to be quite scandalous then oops.

This song reminds me of my lower sec fren Clarence, whom I used to play Magic the gathering and LAN (starcraft, quake, cs) with, once our chi teacher broke us into groups and made us learn chi songs once, haha so we picked this

This song reminds me of my first ex, we used to prac this when we were bored. Later when we discovered KTV, we would sing this in the KTV too.

first ex as well, one of the more memorable movies we watched

My colleagues in NS, we used to go KTV pub, this would be one of the songs sung.

My mahjong khakis, Lu would swoon over Daniel Wu while we become backup singers haha.

JC teacher, someone I looked up to as a brother. He taught me a lot, including Weiqi, and introduced me to a lot of new things, such as animes and musicals

Iggy must be the one who has the most songs attributed to him. This song reminds of the time when I stayed over at Brisbane for one month. Could still picture waking up in his first apartment to the sound of police cars and this song.

Another song that reminds me of Iggy, rather, he made it special for me.

Iggy played this song when I left Brisbane. Now I'm filled with regrets for having jeopardized our friendship the way I did, just want you to know you're the best friend I ever had, and I wish I never said the things I did.

Chengwei my dear sister. You played this song once in your car after our common supper outings.

Chengwei and the Beijing Gang! Would sometimes listen to this while working on our reports/presentation

Tim introduced this song to me after telling me to watch Harry Potter haha.

Got this song from Liz, but Han got hooked on it after listening to it at a kopitiam in Clementi (after one of our usual pool session)

My second ex, to whom I have much apologies for.. we used to sing this in the ktv

my second ex as well, a song I heard from a shoe stall in MBK Bangkok, and went upstairs to buy the cd immediately after asking the shoe shop lady to write down the song title for me

Song from my shijie, my beloved gf, on my birthday. this version's really good, cos its kristin chenoweth's last "wicked" perf, so the lyrics really make sense, both in real life and in the musical

my shijie learnt this song on guitar and sang it to me as a belated v-day surprise! w/o the harmonica of course heh. so touched!

a song my shijie and i learnt together on the guitar one lazy afternoon
